Summer 2026 Update
The Summer 2026 Special Edition Agency Update reflects on the progress made over the past decade following the Great Floods of 2016, featuring spotlights, testimonials and demonstrated impact. Through programs such as the Restore Louisiana Homeowner Assistance Program and the Louisiana Watershed Initiative, we laid a foundation for how Louisiana addresses critical recovery needs and advances more resilient approaches to managing flood risk.

This edition spotlights our Local Government Assistance unit, and provides an update on our Watershed Modeling initiative, following the completion of hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) models for Louisiana's watersheds.
