CDBG-CV Reporting Highlights

In addition, LOCD administered a one-time Community Development Block Grant – Coronavirus (CDBG-CV) allocation of $44.3 million through the federal CARES Act. These funds provided urgent support as communities worked to prevent, prepare for and respond to the challenges of COVID-19. Investments included:

  • Upgrading public facilities
  • Installing modern HVAC systems to improve air quality
  • Creating safe outdoor spaces for residents to gather, work and play

CDBG-CV Programs

HVAC
Provided upgrades to HVAC and ventilation systems in publicly owned community facilities. The application deadline for this program has closed and no additional applications are being accepted.
